2-3 hour shoreline walk (Offered Wednesday & Friday):
Walk along the north shore of Lismore into the historical Port Ramsey and back another way to the Ferry Terminal.
Discover caves, clefts, viking history and much more!
Stare up the mouth of the Great Glen, spot Ben Nevis and the crown of peaks that surround Lismore.
Spot seals, otters, deer, crabs, mussels and so much more!
Difficulty: Moderate, slippery uneven ground. Good footwear and not afraid of heights.
Dureration: 3.1miles / 5km (2-3 hours)
Cost: £10 per person. Space is limited so make sure to book ahead!
2 hour shoreline walk:
Climb the north peak of the island and stare over Port Appin and Lismore.
Discover the hidden, off road, interior of the island.
Walk along the hand built fishery road, tromp through the ruins of a once great stronghold and tip toe through the lost graveyard.
Break stop at the Heritage Centre where everyone will get 30mins to eat and walk the museum. Lunch can be brought or bought.
Difficulty: Moderate, uneven ground. Good footwear and not afraid of heights.
Dureration: 10 Miles/ 16.2 kms (5-7 Hours)
